Ask who manages recovery when the administrator is unavailable, whether access can be limited by vault or role, and which devices the team actually uses. A password manager is not a substitute for account-specific MFA, offboarding procedures or a business continuity plan.

List every shared service by owner, administrator, daily user and person who needs temporary access. Put production billing accounts in a different access group from everyday publishing tools. If a contractor needs one marketing account, the decision is not “share the master password”; it is which access method creates the narrowest appropriate permission and can be revoked later.
Test case: remove the contractor from the approved vault, then verify that their access to the underlying service also ends. If the service has independent sessions or recovery methods, vault removal by itself might not revoke them. Keep multifactor authentication and emergency access arrangements separate from the vendor subscription decision.
For a business with no shared logins, a team plan may add administration without a practical benefit. Compare the needed access controls, not a headline “security” promise.
